PRoblem Description
I am attempting to install Oracle 8.0.5 on HP-UX 11.0, but Oracle does not appear to be relinking.
When I start svrmgrl, I receive a coredump. I get the following error message during the startup mount:
libnss_dns.1 was not found
How can I correct this problem?

Operating System - HP-UX Version - 11.00 Hardware System - HP 9000 Series - K370 application - Oracle 8.0.5
Solution
Install the following patch to resolve the problem: [PHCO_16039/PACHRDME/English]
Note: Patches may be superseded; be sure to load the most current version.
