Our server is reporting the following error in our Sybase log file. basis_daio config: ioctl(async_config) failed Can you eXPlain this error to us?

Solution
This is a Sybase problem, possibly a problem with the Sybase lockable memory parameter. See your Sybase documentation for information on reconfiguring the lockable memory parameters.

Sybase: buildmaster -i, resets parameters to default vanilla configuration values; immediately after the server starts to change values to what you want them to be, bounce the Server again.
